Lecture: The Shape of Abstraction: Tracing a Visual Revolution, Wednesday, June 25, 7pm
Join Boston artist and educator Adria Arch for a dynamic visual presentation tracing the evolution of abstract art. From early pioneers like Hilma af Klint and Kandinsky to contemporary innovators, Arch’s talk explores how abstraction broke from tradition to express deeper emotional and intellectual ideas. Special focus is given to women artists whose contributions have often been overlooked. Discover how today’s artists continue to push the boundaries of this ever-evolving visual language.

This lecture is offered in conjunction with The Shape of Things, on view at The Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, June 5 – July 13, 2025.
