Georgetown served as the filming location for Diane English’s movie The Women (2008). The movie starred numerous Hollywood leading ladies, including Eva Mendes, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher, Annette Bening, Jada Pinkett Smith, Candice Bergen, Bette Midler, and Debra Messing. The primary filming location was at Camp Leslie, along the shore of Pentucket Pond.
From Logan Airport: Get on I-90 E from Airport Rd and continue to MA-1A N. Take MA-60 W, MA-107 N/Salem Turnpike and Walnut St to US-1 N/Broadway/Newburyport Turnpike. Follow US-1 N/Newburyport Turnpike and I-95 N to MA-133 W in Georgetown. Take exit 78B from I-95 N. (via Google Maps)
MBTA: From North Station, Take the Haverhill Line or the Newburyport/Rockport Line outbound to either the Haverhill or Newburyport stops. From there, take rideshare/taxi to Georgetown.
