Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA
Founded as Jeffery’s Creek in the mid-1800s, Manchester-By-The-Sea is located at the southern end of Cape Ann.
A trip to Singing Beach, aptly named because of how the sand resonates when you walk on it, or Tuck’s Point is worth your time and then some. Unique retail shops, great restaurants, and enticing galleries, jewelry stores, and boutiques fill this lovely New England town, drawing plenty of visitors. In the mid-1800s, Boston society designed and built magnificent “summer cottages” along the coastline to escape the city heat.
